All the News
Dear Chef,
I miss sharing an office with you. It was much easier to tell you everything that was going on when all I had to do was turn around and you were right behind me. Can't wait to fill you in on the most recent happenings. Phone date soon.
Miss you, Thelma.
Love,
Louise

Flight
Dear Chef,
It's the days Grandma's sick that I miss you most. You're the only one that gets it. Glad your Kim radar went off and we got to chat. You made a med-evac life flight seem like a ride on a Ferris wheel. Thanks for being my sanity and comic relief.
Miss you, Thelma.

Louise

The Drive
Dear Chef,
The best part about this is that we have lots of time to catch up when you are making the 5 hour drive. That and the fact that you said you couldn't think of getting another sidekick. We did make a pretty dynamic duo. Forget Batman and Robin. The two of us were awesome.
Miss you, Thelma!

One More Lunch?
Dear Chef,
Talking to you was by far the highlight of my day! I miss you being here to talk me off the Tower or go to lunch when one of us had a crappy day. I don't think I ever took those lunches for granted... after all, I said on more than one occasion that they were the best part of working at the Hotel; however, I'd just about give my right thumb for you to come back and have lunch with me tomorrow. True I haven't found my passion and true it was a long day, but mostly, I just miss you.
The call helped though. Thanks.
Miss you, Thelma.

Where oh where is my best buddy? Oh right... Georgia.
Dear Chef,
First day in 7 years I haven't heard from you. Not even a text. Unacceptable. But you are important and you're busy, so it's ok. I'll tell you all my good stories later.
Miss you, Thelma.
Love,
Louise

One of THOSE Days...
Dear Chef,
My first text of the day which read "Happy Tuesday... Miss you... Come Home!" pretty much explains today. You were 100% right. I definitely haven't found my passion and today decided how stupid it is to base career choices on a safe retirement. All this to say, miss you, think I'm coming down with Hungarian flu, and really wish you were here to make hot cocoa or hot tea... even though I still don't like hot tea.
Miss you, Thelma.
Love,
Louise

Everybody Knows
Dear Chef,
The whole family misses you. Even though only Grandma was the only one who ever met you in person, the whole crazy, wacky, weirdo family of mine misses you. They all feel like they know you because you are that awesome. I'm not really sure how to plan my first week without you... I know the first order of business will be to mail your third gift to your new job. You're going to get a kick out of it.
Miss you, Thelma.

So You Thought It Would Be a Good Idea to Go...
Dear Chef,
Today is the day you make like a banana and split. The only problem is you are splitting 5 hours away. Unacceptable. I'm confident I'm not the only complete wreck in town. After all, the impact you have made professionally in this town cannot be matched by anyone. The impact you've made on all of your friends and adoring fans can never be duplicated. The impact you've made on me personally... Will NEVER be forgotten. You are my best friend, confidant, psychologist, comic relief, and all around favorite person on this planet.
You are 1000 shades of awesome.
Miss you already, Thelma.
Love,
Louise
