Getting Through This...

Dear Chef,
I always knew getting through this particular part of my life would be tough... I was just hoping you would be here to help. I think in some strange way I've had to be stronger though since you aren't here. I'd be a wreck if I would have had your shoulder to cry on on a daily basis. You were my first call... and our conversations since have helped.

Gosh I miss you, Thelma.

Love,
Louise

So are the days of our lives...

Dear Chef,
The good thing about your 5.5 hour away relocation is that we have plenty of time to catch up on your drive home. Your soap opera plus my wacky stories make it seem like we never left. Instead, we just have double the crazy to talk about instead of living it together. Good talk.

Miss you, Thelma.

Love,
Louise

All the News

Dear Chef,
I miss sharing an office with you. It was much easier to tell you everything that was going on when all I had to do was turn around and you were right behind me. Can't wait to fill you in on the most recent happenings. Phone date soon.

Miss you, Thelma.

Love,
Louise

Flight

Dear Chef,
It's the days Grandma's sick that I miss you most. You're the only one that gets it. Glad your Kim radar went off and we got to chat. You made a med-evac life flight seem like a ride on a Ferris wheel. Thanks for being my sanity and comic relief.

Miss you, Thelma.

Love,
Louise

The Drive

Dear Chef,
The best part about this is that we have lots of time to catch up when you are making the 5 hour drive. That and the fact that you said you couldn't think of getting another sidekick. We did make a pretty dynamic duo. Forget Batman and Robin. The two of us were awesome.

Miss you, Thelma!

Love,
Louise
